The resurrection/restoration of a 1985 K100 RS. The bike was sitting for at least 5 years. My original idea was to repaint the bike Phoenix red like the Phoenix rising from the ashes. I've given myself a year for the complete restoration.

The future of the Phoenix K
I intend to do a complete tear down and restore of the bike including polishing/restoring outer engine case components. Repainting the frame and other structural components as well as a new paint job for the fairing components. However, this is dependent on the integrity of the engine itself; afterall if the engine is no good then it's not a bike worth restoring. I've given myself a year for the complete restore. The steps will be:
