The chicken pocked fuel tank and fuel pump

When I looked into the fuel tank I saw what looked like chicken pocks all over the surface of the tank. The "Pocks" would rub off and a light yellow residue was all over the inside of the tank. It was obvious that if the fresh fuel that the seller had put in the tank had released this scale the fuel pump would have been fouled.

I didn't do any still pictures of this but I think some of my video will turn out




Going online I found that a new fuel pump alone was $400! That didn't include the fuel hose $89, the vibration isolator is $35
